Facial implants are made out of a variety of permanent materials and are used to replace lost soft tissue support in the face. The most common are cheek, chin, or lip implants.
Cheek implants help eliminate the sunken appearance of the face that occurs with aging. As we age the cheek fat pads break down, thin out, and drift downward creating the appearance of jowls. Cheek implants are a very simple way to replace the lost support and rejuvenate the face.
